Mmmm, lavendar-what good taste Punki- and easy to notice/identify. In all seriousness, it is indeed sad and disturbing if things are as they appear. Thank goodness it is such a rare occurence.

Perhaps, though, the attempted theft angle would be somewhat difficult, since the accused may well plead something like they had a "security concern" or were bringing it to the lost and found.

Personally, I do agree it's worth noting to UA. Most importantly I'm sure glad it was eventually returned to its rightful owner-even if by a "circuitious" route!
