Cool NWA "passive investor" with Equity firm buying Air Midwest
Airtran withdraws tender for Midwest, which agrees to be purchased by a equity firm. NWA is evidently a "passive investor". Smooth move by someone - ATA gets blocked and NWA gets the benefits without the massive capital outlay and any anti-trust concerns (which I doubt would have raised very many...)
