While it is good to see more Marriott family hotels being announced, I can't help noticing the big missing piece still ... Africa (in particular South Africa).

If anyone from Marriott is listening ... how about opening some hotels in Cape Town, Jo'burg, Pretoria, Addis Ababa, Dakar, ...
