I recently cancelled an international itinerary and have a credit of about US$1500 or so. I seldom buy tickets that cost that much, so I am looking for any tips on ways that I can use this credit effectively.

Has anyone had any luck in combining several trips on one PNR and using the credit for that? There are some decent W fares in the US-Asia market now, but they are WEB fares and cost less than $1500 - are there any ways to use the credit toward buying one (or two) of those? Has anyone had any luck buying a ticket with a credit and then repricing down?
