They don't need to have a presidential or honeymoon suite available for me -- my booking is for a simple double bed suite.
I've not yet recieved a call, but will certainly inform her when she calls (or he) that I bought what they sold & if they don't have the product they sold, then they'd better give me a comparable product (acceptable to me) at the same price. All that said, they can still tell us to go fly a kite.
Thanks to those who took the initiative and contacted corporate HQ. That seems likely to be a more fruitful route than just contacting the hotel, since I doubt they really care much (no evidence based on "room destroyed" or previous experiences when they've refused to honor a mistake), but maybe the higher ups will care a bit more about their name.
Now shall we be snarky and discuss the likelihood of a president or honeymooner ever staying at a hotel like this? It isn't exactly the
(fill in your favorite luxury hotel here).
