About the emergency exit arguement, the best seat is still upstair at 15AB and GH because there is nothing in front of you. The door in the upper deck Boeing 747 is rather slim and is not the bulky type door featured in the main deck (because those exits are more important during an evacuation.

22AB is another good pair of exit row in the main deck, but tons of Y class passengers will go pass you during the boarding process, but you get to deplane first when you arrive.

5AB is another exit row but with a bathroom right in front of you... There is no extra legroom and your carry on must go on the overhead storage...

Anyway, the 48 inches legroom is nice... The bulkhead row is nice because there is no seat reclining into your lap...
