I almost always take a window seat, even on long-haul Y. I don't get disturbed by people wanting to get up to the toilet, I don't have the FAs serving things over me, I don't have someone reaching over me to use the overhead cabin. And best of all, I get a wall to lean against and sleep if I wish.
I like to sit in the first rows of the cabin, and would rather trade a window seat in row 2 vs. an aisle seat in row 6. I like flying, but not so much sitting in a plane while it's on the ground.
