Yes, but AS has frequency into all 3 Bay Area airports, also, STS, and into all 5 LA airports, as well as SAN and PSP. OP can also earn Q miles on any NW/AA/DL flights, and can fly to DCA nonstop.
You do need more mileage to qualify if you throw partners into the mix for MVP/G qualification.
