Getting FF mileage for a ticket as I understand it is as follows:

1 - Full fare, Y or F - full milage credit.
2 - Non-Rev ticket - any class, you get no milage credit.

3 - Discount, consolidator tickets and the rest - you can get full credit, partial credit or no credit, depending upon the specific ticket and restrictions you purchase it under.

(Note: If someone could break down for us exactly what ticket types had reduced milage or no milage other than non-rev tickets, I for one would love to read it).

p.s. So the answer with Orbitz is, I believe - sometimes.
