Just curious - is glassware only offered on ex-Shuttle 737s in F if there is a meal service scheduled? I recall a SEA-DEN flight a few years ago where I got my meal in the plastic box, but my drink in a real glass.

Yet a friend flying BOS-ORD in F on a non-meal flight got her drink in plastic, which leads me to believe glassware is only loaded with meals, if at all.

Any recent experiences? And am I the only person who thinks plastic cups have no place in a First Class cabin, except for pre-departure beverages?
