As much as I dislike the SNN stop over rule, I do feel for SNN in all this.

I wonder why EI would not do some sort of triangle route involing ORK- would that not make some sense.? SNN/ORK/LHR/ORK/SNN/LHR
Basically the same number of aircraft and flight crew

Given that all the EI flights from SNN to DUB operate in the AM ( TATL schedule), there is not even a connection via DUB possible in the PM
