Anyone can get an exit row seat on SQ. No status is required. You just have to call reservations anytime after booking and ask for a SSR EMEX - Special Service Request Emergency Exit row. If the SSR is confirmed, you've gotten your emergency exit row seat, although you won't get a seat number until OLCI opens.
