I would be inclined to agree, there are some community events that Hawaiian doesn't sponsor. They have to leave some for Aloha.
I don't really have a problem with outsourcing in general, but I've found that outsourcing airline call centers overseas has caused a number of customer service problems. Not just at Hawaiian, but also at the likes of Delta and US Airways.
I don't think it's just the 767; as far as I know Hawaiian has never done heavy widebody maintenance in Hawaii. The DC-10s were serviced by American at Tulsa, and I've heard that the L-1011s were handled by TWA.
