Just called up Krisflyer to try to book a few flights using my miles... Noticed a few changes...

1. A new non toll free number
2. Very likely to be a call centre from India
3. U give them the departure and arrival ports, dates and time, they will book the flight for u. But u have to call back 24 hours later to check on the availability of the seat. And if u are lucky enough, u can then have the ticket issued.

Notice that the waiting time is reduced. And the lady attending to me was trying very hard to answer to all my requests and answers... And she did well...

I have dealt with operators previously based at the pacific coast... Some are very polite and patient... some just can't bear to have u hang up the phone the minute u call... So we will see how long they can maintain the standard of customer service at the new call centre...
