It's years since I flew to S.korea,most of my work was in Pusan and at that time Pusans only Int'l link was with Narita otherwise it was via Seoul.
In those days BA put on a direct Seoul service but it was short lived.Korean Air used to fly direct but not my favourite carrier!
My first trip to SK was for a week and our travel people booked me in econ routed: MAN>LHR>BAH>HKG>TPE>SELwork2days>PUSANwork 3 days>NRT>ANCHORAGE>FRA>MAN no stopovers!
Needless to say the next 6 times it was in J using BA MAN> LHR>NRT JAL>Pusan.
