I remember sitting in a window seat in F waiting for an ORD-SEA flight to take off, with the three other seats in my row the only empty seats on the plane. Just as they were about to close the door, a sweaty, panting family of 3 came onto the flight, and we immediately pushed back. They had connected late from PVD and ran to make the flight - they even made a comment like "no way our bags will make it."

A few minutes later, as we were taxiing to get in line for takeoff a baggage car came driving up to the plane on the taxi way and loaded their bags. Pretty impressive ^
yup, the ord ground crew can work wonders as that's what happened when my oak-iad flight had do divert to ord due to a mid-air mx problem. 31 minutes from wheels stop to push back with all bags loaded
