Not necessarily unusual, but certainly eye-rolling...
I walked into my local Starbucks and when I paid for my drink w/my CC, the girl behind the counter looked at my name and went (and this is pretty much word for word and letter for letter)..."OMG, are you so and so's older sister?" When I replied yes, she screeched and ran out from behind the counter and hugged me and said "OMG, I totally HEART your brother." And while I waited for my drink, she then proceeded to tell every person in line when they came up to the counter that she "(I) totally heart that girl's brother."
It was the first time that I have ever heard the word "OMG" and "Heart" spoken in an actual sentence.
When I relayed this experience to my other sibling, he responded by saying that the worst experience that he had ever had in a Starbucks was when the person behind the counter sang the order in an awful, operatic voice..."A caramel macchiato for Mr. Brooooooown"..."Tall soy no whip latte for Ms. Jooooones."
