simple:

i wan't coffee and not something with a 12 mile long name costing 6 bucks so when i ask for a medium* or large* coffee with room for milk always seem to get a "deer in the headlight look" of "is that all you want is just coffee?

* and yes, i do ask by medium or large as opposed to the other names.
