The first on fist off mentality is also prevalent in the US... and don't get me started on what ancient aircraft they fly here too ... (IC (732) and AI (310) are in the same league like AA (MD) and NW(DC9))

First on: to stow your luggage in the overhead (US and Indian pax loooove to carry loads of handluggage)
First off: to be the first in immigration where some lines tend to form when a number of aircraft arrive at the same time.
