Anyone have experience flying into Japan with a slight married versus maiden name discrepancy?
Passport has maiden name. Tickets, driver's license, credit cards are in hyphenated married name. Mine is pretty obvious since my married name is hyphenated and I'm traveling with my husband, but I'm nervous about whether carrying the marriage license and other IDs will work.
We leave in 5 weeks and I read too many horror stories about even "expedited" passport renewal service taking that long.
