Have you talked to the front desk and let them know the ways you have been directly inconvenienced? It may just be me but I don't understand the threads about "how much compensation should I get". If I'm at a hotel and something goes wrong I talk to the hotel. FT to me in spirit is about people helping each other maximize their experiences through knowledge and not about compensation.
As I said, it may just be me. I do wish you a happy holiday though!
