CE Afternoon tea service:

- The savoury hot option IME varies between quiche, cornish pasty or meat pie. (The latter two are really yummy, and mostly seen out of LHR!) Note that you won't get a choice though. There will only be one hot option onboard.

- There are also two mini sandwiches, pre-plated and with little salady-leaves thrown around them. The fillings can however vary from the sublime to the ridiculous! (Again, no choice available for sarnies. Just what is already pre-plated and loaded on the catering tray.)

- Scones are offered from a basket, and you are welcome to grab more than one. A little pot of strawberry jam and a small pack of Rodda's clotted cream are already placed on the tray.

- The sweet can be anything from a slice of (so-so) dried out cake to a really delicious and moist bakewell tart.

P.S: Can someone please shoot the caterer who dreamed of aubergine sandwiches as being pleasant for afternoon tea!
You are making me feel hungry. The quiche can be rather salty. But I like the scones with strawberry jam and cream
