On the subject of badly-designed amenity kits
- Memorial 'Tins' Anyone remember these? They were a series of large tins Delta used for BusinessElite kits to celebrate their 75th anniversary. The concept (showing Delta's history) was very good, but the tins were totally impractical. Very large, difficult to keep with you.
- Hard Plastic Triangles I never understood the concept of these. The shape was totally impractical and they were again bulky and difficult to carry with you.
Given that, what's an example of a well-designed amenity kit? I still have a leather (or is it pleather?) tie case from Delta in the late 1980s or early 1990s that I still use to this day to hold ties when I travel. I also remember a leather (or pleather) CD case from about the same era (which I don't use).
