I agree, it would have been nice to have 9 F seats instead of 6.
Thinking about the future of just the JFK-HKG-JFK route once CX has the 2 daily nonstops and 1 daily connection via YVR, then...
CX will have a total of 26 F seats assumming the following:
8 F on CX831/830 - A346
6 F on CX841/840 - 773-ER
12 F on CX889/888 - 744 Premium or Standard
or CX will have a total of 24 F seats assuming the following:
6 F on CX831/830 - 773-ER
6 F on CX841/840 - 773-ER
12 F on CX889/888 - 744 Premium or Standard
or CX will have a total of 23 F seats assuming the following:
8 F on CX831/830 - A346
6 F on CX841/840 - 773-ER
9 F on CX889/888 - 74A with New F
or CX will have a total of 21 F seats assuming the following:
6 F on CX831/830 - 773-ER
6 F on CX841/840 - 773-ER
9 F on CX889/888 - 74A with New F
This last scenario would be awful as far as F seat availability since the current double daily flights on the A346 and 744 Premium or Standard offer 20 total F seats.

It's my understanding that the wing starts behind row 12 and ends behind row 26. BTW, I don't think there is a seat at 15K.
