This is called tax evasion, and I do know that the IRS has caught people using similar schemes. If you want to avoid paying Canadian tax, just move and establish a real home in a tax haven, sever your ties with Canada, don't do any business in Canada, and don't spend too much time in the country. Then you are free and clear of Canadian tax barring withholding tax on investments. I've met a few oil workers who did exactly this - lived in the Middle East for 5-6 years and then came home with a very nice tax-free nest egg. Perfectly legit (as long as you aren't an American citizen), but living the Middle East is not the easiest nor the most comfortable place for the long-term.
