Oooh, I forgot to mention. If, and that's a big if, you can get in for lunch or dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Royal Hospital Road (:-::-::-:Michelin!), they will do you an excellent and bespoke veggie menu. If you are both veggie, they will call in advance and discuss the sorts of things you like. Very impressive

NB although Ramsay himself thinks that veggies are the scum of the earth, his head chef there is outstanding - she has never done a bad meal (in fact, never a bad mouthful!) - and lots of happy veggies when I've taken them there
