Unruly passenger removed from F 2 Aug 2007 AA ORD TUS

Great job by the FA's yesterday on flight 1349 ORD to TUS....
Prior to boarding PAX in a wheelchair was complaining because the GA's would not let her husband (who was not traveling) wheel her down the ramp. After a bit of arguing she allowed a GA to wheel her down. She was seated in 3F (we were in 3A,B) Immediately after boarding she began harassing the FA's demanding to know when those in F would get drinks and food. She was either intoxicated, over medicated or just plain nuts and kept talking to herself about how much she hates AA and why couldn't she just fly the Concorde like she used to. The FA's tried to calm her initially but she persisted in yelling about how she was in first class and they should be bringing her a glass of champagne immediately. After just a couple of minutes of this one of the FA's returned with a no-nonsense little GA who politely asked the PAX what her issue was... the PAX started yelling at her and the GA told her that she'd be happy to assist her if she would just collect her belongings and follow her. The PAX was quickly escorted off the plane and we shoved off immediately. Great job by the FA's & GA for nipping this one in the bud! ^
