I wonder if anyone did this or knows the answer for it:

both my wife and I are mileage plus first card card holders and both have mileage plus accounts.

question

can my wife use her card and buy her 10000 miles

AND

I use my card and buy HER 10000 miles?

is the limit buying 10k miles per card or receiving 10k in each account?

I need to know for sure in order to give her enough miles for our end-of-year trip to Rio (she will need 80 instead of 50K) she has 50K and I will give her 10K from DC and 10K from my FC and she will buy the last 10K with her first card.
