Agree QF meals trans-tasman are much better than LAN. But does NZ really offer a box meal in business on some routes trans-tasman? I haven't experienced that (having flown NZ in business class on several different routes trans-tasman in recent months) and indeed have had some very nice meals on NZ. That said, I'm not saying QF meal is worse than NZ, just not better.
