Mrs. Royster747 and I are about to book a trip from the west coast of USA to MEL and then return SYD to west coast. There have been MANY less than positive comments about the condition of the UA First Suite and the service provided in that cabin...

I know UA is to start refurbishing the 744's in late 07 with the new first suites...but it would be a crapshoot as to whether we would get a refurbished plane...trip is 05/2008 outbound and 06/2008 return.

SO...should we fly UA First Suites or NZ Business Premier... When you reply, please note why...(better seat, service, food, etc etc).
