Thailand is not the only place that laptops have been searched from. SFO customs have lately been checking crew members laptops coming from Australia, no one knew why- they assumed a search for child porn as well.

Customs have sounded a warning to international visitors after a UK man was charged with importing child pornography at Perth International Airport overnight.
The 46-year-old was questioned after arriving on a flight from London when Customs officers located a laptop which allegedly contained images depicting child pornography.
