UA has done a pathetic job of outsourcing their call centers to India. BD on the other hand has done a excellent job as far as I'm concerned with their outsourced call center in India - I'm made three extremely smooth (apart from the scripted "Do you need a Hertz rental car at your destination?" at the end of each call) cash+miles redemptions already.
Outsourcing can work if its done right. I hope SQ does it right.
