I have mixed feeling about Westin Chosun. Yes, it is located in downtown(North of River) so if you have business in the city hall area or Samsung HQ--you can easily walk to all these places. Also, you can walk around Myungdong area for people watching/shopping etc. Lotte Dept Store is about 50yds away so easy access to their Food Hall/food court which is great when you travel by yourself and want to eat clean, hassle-free local food. What I don't like about Westin Chosun is its building. Since Westin Chosun is one of the oldest hotel in Seoul some parts of the hotel need major renovations. Rooms have been renovated.(Jr suites and reg suites are really nice w/42" flat-screen) I know for fact Westin Chosun is in the process of renovating all their restaurants(O'Kim will be gone!)

My favorite part of W(if your business is near COEX area then it's much better to stay at W rather than Westin) is the view of the river and city. Especially from the Spa/jacuzzi(indoor and outdoor) area.
