As Mark Twain supposedly said, "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." The good news is that the fog usually dissipates in the afternoon -- at least for an hour or so.........
I like the way you have shot your picture with the view framed by the lovely iron grillwork. Looks like a very special suite.
I took a few more shots and I'll probably post those at some point. I actually did enjoy the time I spent in SF, even with the fog and the slightly cold days. The fog burned off by 11am and the only places that were really cold were by the water and Nob Hill (where our hotel was).
Watching the fog roll in at night was quite a sight.
