Hi there,

I am flying CE to Munich next week and am due 80pts for the round-trip.

However, I now have to stay an extra night and because I booked in the wrong class I am unable to change my booking. Thus my seat on the return flight will be unoccupied.

I believe tier points are only awarded if you take the flight - I would be slightly annoyed to miss out on 40 of these. As BA have already received my money they should still provide the points benefit.

I am flying back with another airline as the cost to return with BA couldn't be justified.

Any advice? Have any of you managed to argue successfully with customer relations and receive the points?
