A "supervisor" came over said it exceeded the limit allowed by Transport Canada as set forth on its web site. I cannot find anything other than the section dealing with greater than 100ml of liquids. There certainly isn't close to 100ml of oil in a 213g can of salmon and the ingredients listed on the can are wild salmon and salt. I guess we have no recourse to such egregious abuses of authority?
You may file a complaint directly to CATSA via their website. And they do respond.
