I flew out of YYZ and had 3, 213g cans of Wild Sockeye Salmon in my bag which were seized. The CATSA agent shook it and said I couldn't take it with me because it contained liquid. A "supervisor" came over said it exceeded the limit allowed by Transport Canada as set forth on its web site. I cannot find anything other than the section dealing with greater than 100ml of liquids. There certainly isn't close to 100ml of oil in a 213g can of salmon and the ingredients listed on the can are wild salmon and salt. I guess we have no recourse to such egregious abuses of authority?
