Yes it's very frustrating - I have to choose CX flights and check they are on CX metal in order to earn points and miles even though KA is owned by CX and they are marketed jointly. This is difficult on the HKG-PVG route as there is only one flight a day actually flown by CX. The lounge access question is also unclear - sometimes they let me into the CX First Class lounge on a KA J ticket (with my BA Emerald Status), sometimes it's the business lounge.. looking forward to it being clarified when KA finally joins OW.
