Two, is Alaska Airlines in a financial position to try and buy out YX? With a Midwest hub and slots at DCA and LGA, Alaska might be interested.
That would be a huge step for Alaska but I do not see that happening. I think that they are happy with being a west coast airline. On TMJ4 they said that JetBlue and SW may be potential bidders
