In order to get direct access to the booking systems, you pretty much have to be a travel agent (or be very, very nice to someone who is.

)

There is the KVS Availability tool that show seat maps, flight availability, etc. I don't think you can actually book flights through it, but you can get a lot more info from it then your average travel website.
