Hello -

My husband and I are booked to fly ATN from LAX to PPT, PPT to SYD, and SYD back to LAX in January 2008, and we learned the other day that ATN has had some significant schedule changes that affect our entire trip. We basically lose a whole day in Sydney, have to rebook our hotel in Moorea, etc. It's a mess. I have spoken with a reservations manager, and a supervisor on the phone, both of whom denied me an upgrade to business class to make up for the mess they're created. While they worked with us to change our flights and make our itinerary work (it's still not great), I feel like they need to show some sign of goodwill! Is there no way to get an upgrade - should I be speaking with someone in particular at another office to make this happen? Please advise what I can do - they don't seem to care at all about their passengers!
