NW would more likely gut MKE then AirTran, AirTran probably needs MKE to grow where as NW doesn't need them. If a legacy bought YX, it will just turn into a STL all over again and then MKE is left with an empty D concourse and a 1000 less jobs
I am actually in support of AirTran now and plus there is talks of possibly moving the Headquarters of AirTran to MKE if Wisconsin gave them emormous tax breaks and benefits and it has the City of Orlando worried
