I'd not be excited about either, and the chances are high there will be no "shuttle" from a non-meeting hotel. Were I a betting man, I'd shoot the dice, figuring that by the day of the meeting, cancelations will have occurred at one or more of the listed venues. If you're uncomfortable waiting, ABQ's website lists/links to about umpteen dozen hotels (with locations mapped). The "Convention Center" is smack dab in the midst of downtown, and I suspect the listed properties include all the passable downtown hotels. You might try the Hotel Albuquerque in "Old Town", a pretty good walk but in interesting surroundings, a block or so from the old Plaza, crowded with Native American vendors and quaint/chintzy tourish shopping.
