1. I am a graduate student and waaay beyond 25-year-old;
2. Most Americans tell me I look muuuch younger than my age (due to my Taiwanese look, I guess);
3. I feel young most of the times, except when I have dealines.
4. I think I have a very mature mind. In that case, I am "old."

Question #1. According to your descriptions, I wouldn't quite fit into the proposed "younger" forum, would I?

Question #2. What purpose would this FT "younger-aged" forum serve?

I don't engage in the social networking websites (MySpace, FaceBook,... ). I imagine the "younger" people you have in mind have been getting their dosages of medicine, trevel-related or not, from those social networking websites already.

So here it comes. Question #3. How would the new FT "younger" forum appear to your "targetted" population?

There's currently a *wood points count thread. I recalled seeing a fellow FTer with more than 500K points under his belt. He confesses being 24-year-old. I doubt his FT "needs" would be similar to the so-described "younger" forum.

I don't think OP's logic flies.

edit to add:
I agree with the other posters. The "young" can definitely learn a lot from the "elder" or savvy FTers, as it has been on the board. I don't sense the need for a "younger" forum.
