Its updated ... but the question is will you be able to change your seat by aa.com. OR have to use AC or GA to do it.

I recall being in an AC someplace and noticed that 2H/J (bulkhead on 763) which are normally blocked were open. I was able to change on aa.com and then get the AC to reprint my BP.

That said, normally Airport Control means that the map is blocked except for GA use (AC says they are not supposed to mess with it since the GA may be trying to make methodical changes such as seating a family together).

Updates are fairly accurate.

Who (AC or aa.com) can change your seat is kinda up for grabs. Mainly the GA is the final person in charge.
