I can never understand the posts I see about the quality of CE from LGW. I choose to fly from LGW if I possibly can even though I live close to LHR.
For starters the car parking is very convenient and much cheaper than at LHR. There are rarely the horrendous check in queues that you see at LHR. The F Lounge is comfortable with efficient staff and the choice of food and booze is at least as good as LHR. Almost all of the crews we have experienced have been good and seem more open than their LHR cousins.
And most importantly GB serve real champagne from real bottles and once it's opened it has to be drunk and if there are only 2 of you in CE then that means you
