Sounds fantastic, even more amazing considering that prices for top hotels such as Taj and Oberoi have surged to $500 to $600 from what I've been reading recently. Heck, 15 years or so ago, we paid $250 for the Rambagh Palace in Jaiper (admittedly the Princess Suite). While it was filled with colonial charm, it was a bit tattered and worn.
