If you would bother to read what you found on the barely two week old thread at
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...+EXP%2A+status you would note that the offer has expired (for full year) and there was no discussion of a part-year purchase this year. And really has no applicability to this posters question.
The OP was not asking to buy the full EXP status .. just to buy the balance needed since they were PLT already.
