United Express Announces Additional Expansion at Los Angeles Including New Nonstop Service To Santa Rosa/Sonoma County and Merced

ST. GEORGE, Utah, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- United Express, SkyWest (Nasdaq: SKYW) announced that it will further expand its Los Angeles operation this spring when it adds new service to Santa Rosa/Sonoma County and Merced and increases service to four existing California markets.
Nonstop service between LAX and Santa Rosa will be offered for the first time since 1991 when four daily United Express roundtrips begin April 4. Service will operate as follows:

Direct service shall also begin the same day between Los Angeles and Merced. SkyWest's tentative schedule is as follows:

United Express service will also increase service from Los Angeles International Airport to four United Express locations. Service additions will be as follows:

Los Angeles-Palm Springs 19 20
Los Angeles-Santa Barbara 14 15
All service will incorporate 30-passenger cabin-class Brasilia aircraft featuring in-flight snack and beverage service, a lavatory and overhead/underseat storage areas.

SkyWest Airlines operates as a United Express carrier at Los Angeles under a marketing agreement with United Airlines. The airline currently operates 740 daily United Express departures to more than 50 communities up and down the West Coast. SkyWest is the nation's fourth largest regional carrier and is based in St. George, Utah.
