Personnally I think the bizperk program is the best thing since "sliced bread".
I buy first or biz class from LAX to a nonhub and internationally for work or for personel trips at 30X per $ and use the points for upgrading personnel travel to and from MSP.
I am silver and my husband is a nonelite so chances for free upgrades to MSP or anywhere else for that matter are slim to none. Much better to have a guarenteed seat in FC. It is very satisfying to think of the Plat elites sitting in coach.
