Vegas wedding is definetely the way to go in terms of avoiding the 'faff'.
The wife and I did it a few yrs back, and it saved us 1+yrs of messing about arranging things and getting stressed.
We went out just the 2 of us, then had a huge party for everyone we know when we got back.
